CD2, Geörgy Ligeti : "Pièce électronique nr.3" (1968/1996) 3 min 26
One of the more spontanuous and intelligent expressions of simple electronic sounds. Technically this composition could only be realised more recently, with an advanced computer. 5*
Baby Records
Virgin Prunes : Over the Rainbow (UK,1985)***°'

Tr.3, "Mad Bird in the Wood" 5 min 31
One of the more experimental tracks by Virgin Prunes, brilliant tape music based upon birds cruching on a wall.

CD5, Herbert Eimert & Robert Beyer: "Klangstudie II" 5 min (1952)

Fractal Rec.

Bernard Parmegiani : Chants Magnetiques (F1974,re.2007)****'

Tr.3, "Entropie" 5 min 46
Adventurous music with an electro-acoustic/electronic music fundament but also use of keyboards and percussion.
BVHaast

V.A. : His Master's Noise -The institute of Sonology- (NL,2001)****°

CD1, Tr.1, Iannis Xenakis : "Concret PHII" (1958) 2 min 48
Piece based upon stochastic burning charcoal. To be found one of the better compilations of electronic music.
PS. One of the best albums based upon stone sounds is Lilith : Stone on Sub Rosa. I will airplay a fragment->
Sub Rosa

Lilith : Stone (US,1992)****°

Tr.1, part 1 : "clay" -> 7'31 55
Electro-acoustic masterpiece based upon stone sounds only. Arranged sounds on a computer. Perfect.
Aucourant Rec.
Erdem Helvacioglu : Wounded Breath (TÜ,2008)***°

Panauromni : Psychoangelo (US,2010)***'

Tr.5, "The Wary Dream (threads the grand logic)" 7 min 75
New music with trumpet, guitar, objects and computer with the inclusing of constructive (!) drones and noise. This is the weirdest track.
Innova Music

Drew Krause : Powder (US,2007)***°'
Computer-generated sound : from pitched noise to sequenced organisation to alghoritmical order. 4 or 5* track.
EM Records

Noah Creshevsky : The Tape Music of (US,pub.2004)*°''

Tr.6, "Sonata" (1980) 7 min 90
Somewhat nervous making but tape collage of spoken word with interesting effects on voice and short rhythmical accents of drum machine. In a way this is humorous too. I noticed after some listens I began to appreciate this much better.
New World Rec.

The League of Automatic Music Composers 1978-1983 (US,2007)*°°'

Tr.4, "Oakland One" (1980) 6 min 96
Perhaps the first netwerk based computer music with use of simple interactive near-atreficial intelligence. This track is perhaps the most succesful formula of automatic music, with the least contradictory and chaotic result of all recordings, and with the most interesting, surprising interaction.
Pogus Prod.

Jorge Antunes : Savage Songs (BR,1961-1972,pub.2002)***°'

Tr.12, "Cinta Cita" (1969) 5 min 101

Tr.5, "Contrapunctus versus contrapunctus" (1965) 5 min

CD2, Tr.2, "Sound life 24" 6 min

Tr.15, "Sound life 11" 3 min 17 125

Tr.1, "Retrograde sequence from a tragedy" 4 min

Tr.2, "Spatial Serenade" 3 min 7 132

Tr.8, "Frequencer arrival" 4 min 136
Explorative cosmic music with acoustic percussion. The strangest track.

Tr.9, "Asynchronique" 3 min (left out for time limitation reasons)
Early electronic/electro-acoustic music with some keyboards and acoustic elements. This directs towards cosmic kraut music and something of early Pink Floyd.
Finders Keepers Rec.

A few moog experiments but mostly fun making entertainment, like what happens with moog more often.
DIN
